The American Association of University Women is an organization whose mission is to promote equality, lifelong education, and positive societal change for all women and girls. In support of this mission, the Iron Mountain-Kingsford AAUW branch is offering a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 for women living in Dickinson, Iron, and Florence counties, including Niagara, and surrounding areas. The American Association of University Women Scholarship Criteria is as follows:

Past recipients of the scholarship may not reapply. The scholarship winner will be chosen based on a variety of factors; including financial need, likelihood of success, and a personal essay.
